Biosketch
Born in Rhode Island and currently residing in Chepachet, R.I. Graduated in 1992 from the Community College of R.I. with an ADN and received MSN with an Education Specialization from Walden University in 2015. Blessed to work in the specialty of oncology for 28 years. Holds certifications in both Oncology Nursing and Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing. Passionate about sharing the joy of oncology nursing, and care deeply about high-quality, safe patient care. Finds joy in educating nurses, leading teams, solving problems, and nursing professional development. Served for one year on the Rhode Island Southeast Massachusetts Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society as a Vender Liaison.

On a journey to seek excellence in nursing practice and professional development. Upon graduation from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota April 28th, 2023, with DNP in Organizational Leadership, I am tapping into my 30-year nursing career caring for oncology patients, administering chemotherapy, leading teams and educating nurses in the clinical and classroom settings. On a new and exciting journey in the pursuit of nursing excellence, I am now the Director of the Traditional BSN Nursing Program at Eastern Connecticut State University. I am looking forward to discovering the next chapter in the nursing education adventure story.
